safe_copy_meta

petpal.utils.image_io.safe_copy_meta(input_image_path: str, out_image_path: str)

Copy the metadata file from input image, to one with the same name as the output file. Intended to be used in functions operating on images in order to ensure a metadata file is associated with each new image.

Parameters:

• input_image_path (str) – Path to the input file for the function generating a new image.

• out_image_path (str) – Path to the output file written by the function.
