warp_pet_to_atlas

petpal.preproc.register.warp_pet_to_atlas(input_image_path: str, anat_image_path: str, atlas_image_path: str, type_of_transform: str = 'SyN', **kwargs) → ants.ANTsImage

Warp a (3D or 4D) PET image (in anatomical space) to atlas space using an anatomical image.

Parameters:

• input_image_path (str) – Path to PET Image to be registered to atlas. Must be in anatomical space (i.e. same space as anat_image_path image). May be 3D or 4D.

• anat_image_path (str) – Path to anatomical image used to compute registration to atlas space.

• atlas_image_path (str) – Path to atlas to which input image is warped.

• type_of_transform (str) – Type of non-linear transform applied to input image using ants.registration. Default is ‘SyN’ (Symmetric Normalization).

• kwargs (keyword arguments) – Additional arguments passed to ants.registration().

Returns:

ants.ANTsImage – Input image warped to atlas space.
